We're young Bangladeshis who speak up when others can't. Agamir Hashi exists to push back against injustice and fight the stigma around mental health: one conversation, one event, one campaign at a time.
Agamir Hashi is a non-governmental organization based in Bangladesh. We started with a group of young people who were tired of watching mental health treated as taboo in this nation. We have since pledged to not only talk about mental health, but of everything that surrounds it: gender-based violence, marginalised communities and societal affairs.
From showing up at Model UN conferences and community events to conducting awareness campaigns and also collaborating with other youth organizations, we keep going because it matters.
Agamir Hashi translates to 'Tomorrow's smile' in English, and that's more than just a name for us. It's our direction.
Reach OutThese are the commitments of every AGH volunteer: to the community and to each other.
In Bangladesh, mental health is still treated as weakness. We run campaigns, open discussions, and writing competitions to change that: one conversation at a time.
Minority communities in Bangladesh often go unheard. We don't accept that. We put their stories in front of people who need to hear them.
A volunteer-run organization that works towards making a future generation of people who will not think only of themselves but also of the people around them. We are not just a resume line; we're where people learn to lead.
Join us as a Youth Ambassador! We aim to empower passionate young individuals to create meaningful impact within their communities while representing our mission of hope, wellbeing, and positive change.

We do more than just spread awareness on social media. We show up where we're needed.
Read More →Agamir Hashi came out of a frustration shared by a small group of young Bangladeshis. They watched mental health get dismissed, minorities get talked over, and a gap that nobody seemed interested in filling. So they filled it themselves.
Small community events grew into an NGO with a presence at national Model UN conferences, a working relationship with NGOs (such as Nishonkoch Foundation, CNHA, and Girlup Horit) along with a team spread across Dhaka. Everyone involved is a volunteer.
Sir Salimullah Orphanage, SFIS MUN at Summerfield International School, Kathpencil Pathshala and the marginalised neighbourhoods around you. Our work surpasses digital limits with campaigns prioritising real world action.
Every event we run, every post we write, every conversation we start is a step toward a Bangladesh where mental health gets taken seriously and no community goes unheard.
